Children
and Youth - Youth Ministry
Sometimes,
it's hard for kids to make the transition from
children's to youth ministry. Youth have their
own concerns and challenges. They are still
searching for the loving, caring God they have
learned about as children, but at the same time they
are wise enough to see that sometimes our world is
far from loving and caring. Where is God in
all of this? Is he working here among us?
And what is his hope for me?
Trinity has a
youth program that is alive and vital with staff
members and lay leaders working together to provide a program that helps our youth
begin to sort out some of the questions and concerns
they have, to help them begin to build their
spiritual framework and so get ready to move into
adulthood.
With
a combination of activities that includes (but is
not limited to) Retreats, Mission Trips, Real Life
Discussions, Peer-led Church School, Youth-led
worship, recreation, fellowship, and service, youth
at Trinity can grow, develop, and feel part of
something larger than themselves all in one place.
