Children
and Youth
Children and youth are not just the future of the
church, they are it's present as well and the
responsibility we have been given to help them find
their loving, caring God is without a doubt one of
the most important tasks the church has. We, the people and staff of Trinity UMC,
believe it is our task to nurture an awareness of
God's presence in their lives and in the world, and
to afford them opportunities to experience the
wonder and mystery of God through worship.
Through God's
Circle, Trinity has created a sacred space where
children and youth can;
 Care for
themselves and others, just as God does,
Imagine how
God is at work in their lives and in the world,
Rejoice in
the mystery and wonder of God through worship,
Create out
of their own creating being, knowing that '. . .
it is good!',
Learn their
faith stories in exciting and meaningful ways,
and
Explore
with open hearts and minds how to be faithful
people in the world today.
