New Wednesday Evening Bible Study -
December 3 - Jan 14, 6:30 PM
The Sideline Stories of Christmas. We know the
stories of the shepherds, the Magi and the Bethlehem
manger, but do we know “the rest of the story?” A
short five week class led by Frank Lyman begins this
week and we meet for one brief hour from 6:30 to
7:30 PM in the Fireside Room. The schedule is:
Dec. 3:
“The 42 Generations of Jesus’ Ancestry and
Prediction of John’s Birth” (Matthew 1: 1- 17,
Luke 1: 5-24)
Dec. 10: “Mary
Visits Elizabeth, The Magnificat” (Luke 1: 39-56)
Dec. 17: “The Birth
of John, Zechariah’s Prophecy” (Luke 1: 57-80)
Jan. 7: “Jesus is
Presented in the Temple, Anna and Simeon” (Luke 2:
21-38)
Jan. 14: “Escape to Egypt, Massacre of the
Innocents, Settling in Nazareth” (Matthew 2: 13-23,
Luke 2: 39-40)
Super Bowl Sub Sale - January 4 - 20, 2009, Delivery
February 1
The youth have started their annual Super Bowl Sub
Sale to raise money for this Springs Mission Trip to
Red Bird Kentucky. Please show your support and help
us get to Kentucky by purchasing some Super Bowl
Subs. Either see one of the youth or stop by our
display in the Parlor. Subs will be sold until
January 20th, and delivered February 1st,
just in time for the Big Game.
ACTS - Adult Christians Totally
Socializing - Friday, January 16, 6:30 PM
ADULT CHRISTIANS TOTALLY SOCIALIZING (A.C.T.S.) will
be meeting on Friday, January 16, 2009 at Big O’s
(80 Ottawa NW) for pizza at 6:30 PM followed by ice
skating at Rosa Parks Circle. Children are welcome!

Perennial Plant Sale
The Trinity Gardening Committee is having a
'Perennial Plant Sale' next spring and we are in
need of plants! If you have plants in your
landscape that you need divided, we would be more
than happy to come to your house and divid them for
you this fall. You would just donate the extra
plants to the sale. It's that easy! We
will be wintering them over in someone's garage and
then will also be dividing other plants in the
spring.
