Trinity began its Community Ministries (CM) outreach program in 1993 when a need was identified to provide a safe place for the growing number of at-risk kids in the neighborhood.
At the beginning we opened our doors to just a handful of elementary-aged students. Since, we have grown to annually serve over 100 children, teens and young adults—many of whom have stayed with the program since childhood.
CM is staffed by a team of educators, administrators, counselors, and other highly skilled professionals, supported by more than 100 volunteers.
Our program includes:
- Kid’s Club – meets weekly
- Teen Club (dinner and/or bible study) – meets two night/week
- Literacy Program for grades 1-3 – meets 4 days
- Tutoring in school and in house
- Advocacy work school and other at all levels
- Gym program – M-Th
- Summer programming
- Prayer partners for each child and teen (on-going)
- Scholarships for camp and other enrichment programs
You can help by participating in our year-round Magazine Fundraiser.
