Our 20-member Chancel Choir ensemble is the most active musical group at Trinity. The Chancel Choir leads worship every Sunday from September to early June, and offers more than 120 introits, anthems, and benedictions each season.

Trinity's choir is a diverse group of individuals, with many singers who are music professionals of some sort in the Grand Rapids community, but also many gifted individuals who just enjoy singing. They have toured various European countries several times, and offer a wide-ranging repertoire each Sunday spanning from eight-part motets to African-American spirituals to English Cathedral choral music. The Chancel Choir is open to all dedicated individuals without audition. Rehearsal takes place Thursday evenings from 6-7:30pm.

Anyone interested in joining the Choir is encouraged to contact Randy Burghart, Chancel Choir Director, at r.burghart@grtumc.org.
