At Trinity United Methodist Church we are committed to following Jesus’ teachings through justice, compassion, and worship. We are a community that takes seriously Jesus’ way of love and justice for all people. The God we encounter through Christ has shown time and again that ALL MEANS ALL. So, to the baptized and not baptized, welcome. To the doubters, the believers, and the doubting believer, welcome. Welcome if you are female or male, black or white, rich or poor, young or old, or anywhere in between. Welcome no matter who you love or who loves you. Welcome all to this community of worship and service.
Rev. Mike C. Desotell
Our Mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
We strive to be an inclusive faith community that extends God’s love in our neighborhood and world.
If you are looking for a doctrinal statement to figure out what we believe you can check out some of the links at umc.org. That resource will give you a general idea about what United Methodists believe. However, each congregation of the United Methodist Church is different. If we had to put a label on it, we would call Trinity a progressive community. But that doesn’t mean that moderates or conservatives would be unwelcome. We take that ALL MEANS ALL thing seriously.
If you would like to know more specifics about the beliefs of Trinity feel free to contact Pastor Mike at m.desotell@grtumc.org.
